MaRRS International Spelling Bee Contest

MaRRS International Spelling Bee is the first Spelling competition in Asia for school students. The first level of the competition will be conducted in the school. Students from Stds I to XII participate in the event. The first level of this competition was conducted in our school. The results of the competition are attached. ASSET Programme at DPS East

ASSET is a diagnostic test which actually helps students improve.It measures how well a student has understood concepts and gives detailed feedback on the same, to help them improve.We, at DPS East have this programme for our students from class III – IX. We want to ensure that our students get the best guidance and feedback to improve in various areas.Various workshops have been conducted for parents of different classes to help their child to understand the concept in subjects such as Maths, Science etc.In addition, based on the performance of the students, we have been able to collate a performace list for classes from III – IX.Please click here to download the list.

Rajyotsava Celebrations 2009

Kannada Rajyotsava, or the Karnataka Formation Day is celebrated on 1 November every year. This was the day in 1956 when all the Kannada speaking regions of south India were merged to form the state of Karnataka.On 6th of November, the Primary Students had put up a spectacular show to celebrate Kannada Rajyotsava. Children's Day Celebrations 2009

Children's Day is celebrated in India on the 14th of November, the birthday of India's first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, as a tribute to his love of children. He was very fond of children and believed that children are the future of the nation.

Fun Week at DPS East

As a part of the Children' day celebrations held at Delhi Public School- Bangalore (East) on 13th November 2009, a T-Shirt painting competition was conducted in all classes from Class IV to Class IX.Please click here to read more.
