It gives me great pleasure to inform you that the students of DPS Bangalore East have been invited to attend the SPACE Camp and AVIATION challenge at NASA’s Educational Centre at Huntsville, Alabama.

 

After having facilitated three extremely successful camps in April 2007, October 2007 and October 2008, we are convinced that the programme provides an invaluable learning experience to our students.  It promotes the excitement of astronaut and jet fighter pilot training in a safe and stimulating environment.

 

Besides, students are exposed to cross culture ethos as they interact with other from a multitude of ethnic, socio-economic and educational backgrounds.

The Space Camp Programmes are being offered to students in the age group of 9-17 years. The programmes being offered are –

 

• Space Camp, Space Academy & Advance Space Academy programme- during which teamwork, self-confidence and communication will be imbibed through state-of-the-art simulations, missions, rocket building and robotics.
• Aviation Challenge: Mach I, II & III programme in which teamwork, self confidence and communication will be promoted through state-of-the-art high performance jet simulation, scenario-based missions, land and water survival technique training and flight dynamics – aero dynamics.

 

Students who are interested in this programme:

 

• Must possess a Valid Passport

 

• Are required to register latest by Wednesday 10 February 2010 with their original passport and a demand draft for Rs36000/-(Rupees Thirty six Thousand only) in favour of Delhi Public School Bangalore. This is a non-refundable deposit to Education Center, NASA, Huntsville, USA.

 

• Are requested to fill in the application form provided along with this circular and also fill up the form online in the following ID.
